TIO: What regulatory or safety standards must be taken into
account when bringing new optical lenses to market? How does
Nikon ensure compliance with these standards while maintaining
the high quality of its products?
TH: For safety, we ensure that we meet ISO standards.
For regulatory requirements, we closely follow local medical
device regulations to ensure our solutions comply with local
requirements.
TIO: Looking ahead, how do you envision optical lens
technology evolving over the next 5-10 years? How do you
plan to adapt your product launch strategies to stay ahead of
technological innovations in the eyewear industry?
TH: There will be continued efforts to improve the overall design
quality of spectacle lenses, including lens design, coatings, and
light management solutions. Our main goal is to make our lenses
perfectly adapted to your eyes, rather than having consumers
