Dr Dhawan focused on work ethics and
the provision of quality eye care services in
ophthalmology. In a field where precision,
patient safety and ethical considerations are
paramount, his insights served as a reminder of
the core values to be kept in mind by eye care
professionals.
Optometry interns at IGEHRC demonstrated
their creativity and commitment to eye health
by preparing informative posters. These posters
served as a visual reminder of the day’s mission
and educated attendees about various eye
conditions and prevention strategies. The
program concluded with the distribution of
director, MCVI; Dr Kritika Chopra, consultant certificates and mementos to the faculty and
paediatric ophthalmologist, IGEHRC; Ashish
Bhatnagar, Miyosmart manager, Hoya Vision WSD AT LOTUS COLLEGE
Care; Dr Anitha Arvind, the head of optometry
at GD Goenka University.
In her presentation Dr Chopra spoke about
the critical issue of childhood blindness,
raising awareness about prevention and early
intervention, and the need for community
engagement and education to combat this
pressing concern.
Professor Chaudhary addressed myopia
control, an increasingly important topic in
today’s digital age, by shedding light on
effective strategies to manage myopia and its
impact on young individuals.
Ashish Bhatnagar discussed myopia control
glasses, which are vital tools in managing
