orld Sight Day (WSD) is a reminder
of the importance of eye health and
Wthe necessity to provide access to eye
care for everyone. This year, the theme selected
by the International Agency for Prevention of
Blindness (IAPB) was ‘Children, Love Your Eyes’.

The aim of the global event is to raise public
awareness about the importance of eye health,
myopia control and preventing avoidable
blindness, with a special focus this year on
children’s eye care. Observed annually on the performances were the highlights of the day.
