INAUGURATION CEREMONY

o celebrate its silver jubilee, Vidyasagar
College of Optometry and Vision Science
T(VCOVS) organised an optometry
summit on 24 and 25 February 2024. The
Kolkata Optometry Summit or KOS”24
brought together leading researchers, eye
care practitioners, and industry experts to
discuss the latest advancements in optometry
and the future of the profession.
It was a big event as 400 delegates
attended the conference. The attendees from
across India comprised students and faculty
members from different optometry institutes,
renowned ophthalmologists, optometrists and SPEAKERS IN
representatives of the optical trade industry. PANEL DISCUSSION
The summit also created opportunities for
potential collaborations with VCOVS.
